"Alexander Herrmann – Airbnb"
We decided to go to Jerusalem very spontanious after Christmas, so it was quiet hard to find a room. Even though the room posted on AirBnB was not availabel anymore Nir found us a very nice place to sleep. We just met very short as I was in a hurry. But it was a very nice and uncomplicated experience and location. Thank you a lot Nir! If I ever come back to Jerusalem I will try to stay with you 🙂
“Super with a capital S”
Breakfast was great. The room was super. Very quiet hotel.
"“Very nice homely hotel on a secluded square”"
Pros: See experience for details. Atmosphere, warmness and friendliness of the owners (and other guests too!), cleanliness, convenience.
Location: Small square which not everyone in Jerusalem knows despite it is just behind the Central Bus Station. Yaffo and now-famous streetcar are close -> GO!
Have no words to describe the warm, and cordial atmosphere of the hotel. The owners do their best to make it feel like a cozy home. Breakfast is simple but COMPLETE, really in Yerushalmi spirit and just what you need to start a day. Do not forget to put some zaatar and olive oil on your hummus and tkhina to be really embraced by the city! You can also prepare anything from tea/coffee to meal in the kitchen assuming you store you food in the guests fridge properly and clean/wash after yourself. The first sight you have on the morning when you are out is a small lovely garden, pink warm Yerusalem stone of the walls and a light air promising you a joyful day. We had a late flight at the day of checkout but were arranged to rent the same room for reduced price with no need to worry. If you are OK with some normal peculiarities of Jerusalem winter (hot water in shower takes some time to come when you run it and will not last forever hot, if the air-mounted AC needs some repair, you need to use the floor electric heater), you will be really happy and retain the warmest memories.
"“Lovely place, lovely people . . .”"
What a lovely place to stay.
Our hostess and staff were all very welcoming and friendly, in addition very knowledgeable and helpful if you need tips and advice about travelling around the country (incl. car hire and maps).
The rooms are small but the beds have comfortable mattresses (I slept well) plus tv and wifi and there’s lots of hot water. In addition there’s a phone to call Israeli numbers free which makes it handy for calling the Nesher shared minibus service to get back to the airport.
Breakfasts are great and often with interesting company plus there’s full cooking facilities and a big fridge if you want to do your own thing. There’s also a pretty patio area surrounded by trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs to sit out in.
Very centrally situated, within walking distance to Machane Yehuda Market and easy access to buses and trams. It’s a downhill walk to the Old City but it’s nice to take the tram on the way home especially if it’s hot.
Shopping-wise there’s a good supermarket just down the road (turn left) and the Shopping Centre on Yafo Street (turn right) has lots of good shops too.
This is a home-from-home that I’ll definitely be coming back to on my next trip . . . nice to feel like part of the (extended) family.
Thank you All for a lovely stay.
PS Loved the Towel Art!

"“A hidden gem”"
I have stayed here many times and it just gets better and better if you are after the homely, personal touch rather than the being in a clinical high rise hotel this is the place to stay, the staff bend over backwards to help you and the entire atmosphere has a wonderful feel to it you treat the place like your own home and it is so reasonably priced, I cant praise it enough

Hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was good. It is located in a quiet area very close to the central bus station and in walking distance to the city center.
The room was quite small but all in all I can definitely recommend the place.
Stayed October 2015, travelled solo
This bed and breakfast is so quaint and the owners are fantastic. They made sure we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay and even helped us with coordination of transportation to the airport. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options. Next time I’m in Jerusalem, I know where I will be staying!
Room Tip: Talk with them before you book if you have specifics you would like-minded they are so helpful!
"“Clean and cozy with friendly staff”"
Rooms are small but clean. The common area is open and often quiet I the evenings. It attracts an older, calmer crowd so it’s a nice place to come to after a long day of traveling. In the mornings, guests were friendly and we all talked about an hour while enjoying the generous breakfast. The sooner was at breakfast and helped with all our questions about the city making many great suggestions that were unique and ended up being very memorable. I’d definitely stay again!
